Well, some of the news, anyway. First, a few reminders:

This Wednesday, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, print this coupon and join us for dinner at Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant. 20% of your bill (excluding alcoholic beverages) will go to Sphere College. Please take a moment and pass the word along to your friends. It’s that easy!

Submissions will open for the first Sphere College Short Film Contest beginning 11:59:59 pm (EST) on March 21, and close on April 10. There’s still plenty of time to make and submit a film. Let your filmmaker friends and family know!

We’re celebrating the first anniversary of the college at the Colonial Theatre on Tuesday, April 20. Winners of the Short Film Contest will be screened, and we will sponsor a feature film, Living in Oblivion. Mark your calendars!

In other news, I mentioned briefly in yesterday’s post that Sue Kern has begun donating some of her time as coordinator for the College. Sue read about Sphere College in the Yoga Living Magazine article, and contacted me with a very nice email indicating that she had a good grasp of what it is that we’re working to accomplish and that she’d like to be a part of it. I have felt all along that one of the primary things that the College has needed is a project coordinator who can take on some of the important tasks and see them through to completion (see the previous post!). Sue’s contribution is a turning point for the College that will allow me to turn my attention to some items that have frankly been languishing. There are many positive signs, but many challenges as well. Time to spin up those plates that have slowed down! (If you haven’t already, check out the video linked to yesterday’s post.)

We’re also getting more and more donations coming in via the web. Many, many thanks to the individuals who have donated thus far. The appeals seem to be working! Just keep in mind, folks, that 10,000 people giving $10, $25, $100 will quickly provide the resources to take the College to the next level. I invite you to be a part of it, and ask you to let others know about the College as well!
